Grrrrr!

Ok so my battery went dead. Charged her back up and now my cd player doesnt work. Its the cd player thats down by the cupholders. The radio works fine but its not reading the cd player and also I cant eject the cd that is in the player. Any ideas?

theft lock......read your owner's manual on how to unlock......

blown fuse? I had a car that drained the battery last year, and when it did about half of the car's fuses blew, including the huge main fuse. No idea what happened there. I replaced all of them and everything was ok.

yeah i was thinking that but i think its got power (havent had time to check yet). The light on it is on and everything.

anyone else?? Im probably gonna take out the radio tomorrow to check everything out...Otherwise I guess Ill be throwing a cd player in ther....It would look kinda stupid with 2 cd players though

my guess is the battery shorted out

ok old thread but a couple weeks ago i fixed the problem. Just remembered to post it now. I didnt know what the problem was so I thought it was something with the computer. What I ended up doing is disconnecting to battery for a lil bit more than 10 minutes and reconnected it and everything worked fine!

does anyone know where i can get a blank off for the cd player in the center console, i replace my radio but still have the factory cd player and i want to get it out.

The dealer is the only place I know of, they are sometimes called "pockets". Some are available at stereo shops though.
