Front Sway Bar Linkage

Just finished changing the linkage on my front sway bar and was wondering if there is a rule of thumb for how much these should be tightened? I just put enough pressure on the bushings that they feel firm and haven't started to 'mush' or lose their original shape. The bushings are made by Moog and are quite stiff.
