Still needs a couple of hours of tweaking, but it's getting there.

Oh AWESOME. If you don't mind Robo, can you email me a big copy? My friend would love it for his desktop background... alexdowby61@msn.com

Done! Now I have to draw a regular GT500, and some closeups of various Eleanor characteristics - the "Go Baby Go" button on the shifter, a rim, the GT500 badge, that kind of thing. :)

Thanks! :)
It was drawn first with fine point marker, scanned in, then coloured in Photoshop, mostly using selected areas and the paint bucket tool. I usually use about 30 layers to build up and blend reflections.

Ok, IC
It was hard to tell because the lines looked like a sketch but the color looked like marker or something. That is a great technique; I haven't tried that yet. I read about it in the Hot Wheels book.
Thank you for sharing

Awesome artwork.
Are you also writing the article to go with the illustrations?
I've been checking the sites and haven't seen much by you recently,
unless you're not getting a by-line.

Thanks Blip
Which sites have you been checking? I've had several on www.painkillerz.ca. Haven't had any on Canadian Driver for the past couple of weeks, but there should be a couple next week.
I was writing the text to go with these pieces, which are called "Legends". They aren't on the internet, they're for a syndicate that distributes features to newspapers (www.wheelbasecom.com). I'm just illustrating them now, it's quicker.

Mostly the "Painkillerz" site, I forgot about the
"Legends" material being for print media.
The Washington Post and our other local paper don't carry that column.

Ohhh... on Painkillerz, I had the Commander, Daytona and Legendary Motorcar stories last week. :)
They're still there.. just click on the pictures of them.
Oh yeah... the review of the fire truck is mine too. :)

Thanks for the info, I had been going straight to the "fast stories" section, missed the other stuff.
The firetruck drive looks to have been great fun.
