instrument cluster swap

I have a 1997 geo metro 3cyl 5sp, the instrument cluster has no tach. Would a 95 geo 3cyl with tach fit if so fine, if not does anyone know would a 96 fit or am I stuck looking for a 97.
I am currently looking for the gauge cluster with tach but want to make sure I get one that will fit properly. Does it matter if the car was an auto, thanks in advance

Hmmm. It might work but I dont know. I know some have an ABS light. Past 95 things get vague.

I will answer my own question, I found out 1996-2000 are interchangeable but you need to make sure whether you have abs or not. It makes a differnece, thanks
