V6 3.0 engine info needed

I am planning to put a larger engine in a 1929 Mercedes replicar that currently has a 4 cylinder chevy chasis and I have the option of getting a rebuilt Buick 3.0 big block engine, but don't have any idea how good that engine is. Any and all information about this engine would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Sam
