Love My Maxima

I know most of us on here are usually looking to find the answer tosome problem we've had with our car or just trying to figure out what to do next to our cars. This might sound kind of gay, but I love my Maxima. I thought my 96 was an awesome car and I think my 03 is the best FWD car out there. I've been looking for a G35, 350Z, FD3 RX-7, S2k, Boxster; the list goes on. With the exception of the G35 I really wouldn't trade my car for anything I've been looking at recently. The car moves. Now that I've put on the Cattman products from the y-pipe to exhaust tip and A'PEXi power intake, I can't keep the tires from spinning and mine's an automatic. I couldn't imagine a six speed. I just wanted to get that off my chest.

First gear for me = useless at full throttle, and I have HLSD. 6 speed by the way. I absolutely love the black leather interior, I seriously get compliments on it ALL the time.

Me too. I get compliments at other dealerships and from a lot of peole in social settings. I haven't had another car where so many compliments were given to me.

Good to know you love her!

I just got my 96 SE today...
I need to fix my front turn signals, they don't blink?

But I have always loved the Maxima, just always had 2 door sports cars...Now at 43 (next month) I want more comfort and ease of getting in & out.

I will look forward to chatting with you guys & getting to know these 4 door sports cars better!

I loved my 96 SE. It was hard to get rid of her. The only possible replacement was my 03.
See you in Indy on the 4th of July! USGP

I have 95 maxima GLE, love it, but what is this " Cattman products from the y-pipe to exhaust tip and A'PEXi power intake " and how do they make difference. how much do they cost, and where can i find them.

I used Cattman products to replace my y-pipe, catalytic converter and exhaust system. I used Berk technologies short ram intake with A'pexi's cone air filter to replace the factory air intake. Together they are awesome. Just today I had a guy drive my car to test the brakes & he asked if I had a turbo. (big ego trip) I haven't had the car dynoed yet to see what hp gains I've made.
From reading literally hundreds of these threads it seems that the y-pipe is the best modification you can do to the maxima. Keep reading these and look at the past threads. There are a lot of very knowledgeable people here and on maxima.org; I just prefer this site.
Cattman makes the best product in my opinion but you are going to pay for it. Y-pipe to exhaust tips on a 95 is going to run about $1125. You can find parts that produce comparable results for less.
Here are some sites to start looking for: custommaxima.com- I think this should be your first stop
www.cattman.com- great service. Brian was very helpful and patient with me
