question about audio...

I just got a new Pioneer DEH-7700MP today with 2 Pioneer 6x9's. I've had the front Pioneer speakers for a while...Anyway, both my tweeters are blown. I don't want to get some more Infinity tweeters because they'll probably blow again if i hook them up to this head unit. Anyone know who makes tweeters that will fit in a 2g eclipse? If not, anyone know the dimensions of it?

The tweeters don't work when you hook up an aftermarket head unit anyways, don't worry about it.

Mine work, but mine run off the amp in the cd player

my tweeters worked after i installed the head unit...they're just blown. i just wanna know what kind i can get that are aftermarket

Alpine makes some, I think its 3 1/2", for the front in the dash if those are the same ones your talking about. I believe they were something like $75-$100 a pair and could handle 125rms. Gotta love Alpine Type-R's. :smokin:
