reduced power light and check engine light on in truck. a diagnostic test showed the throttle position sensor fault in 1 and 2. Does this directly mean I should change these two parts or does it only point me in the right direction. If so, what should I do next? each part costs 75$ a piece and not to mention labor. thanks for the help in advance. Did anyone have this problem and if so can u help.

Sounds like a throttle by wire issue. There is a position sensor at the top of the gas pedal linkage, then another positioner and servo actuator attached to the throttle shaft.

It has the 3.2L, a/c, auto everything. I bought it 9 months ago, with 32,000mi on it and it now has 41,000mi. I am the 2nd owner of the vehicle, is this problem related under any warranty. I had a Pathfinder and a Grand Cherokee over the last 5 years and never had any problems. 9 months with an Isuzu and already this is happening. I read a lot on forums lately and so far came up with wiring issues ($800), throttle by wire ($800), cracked manifold ($700), and throttle position sensors ($150+ Labor) all as possible reasons. A vehicle that lives up to expectation (priceless). I also heard from garages that these suv's are known for these issues, at what point will this be considered a factory problem with these issues and become a recall. there obviosely is a problem with engineering.
