Obdi...

I'm going to buy a used integra... what year did they start using OBDII? OBDI is better for tuning, right? I was thinking of getting an LS with over 100K miles (cheap) then swapping a GSR engine+a mild turbo setup (6-9psi). Am I glutton for punishment with a car that old, or with a new engine should the rest last? Also, would the OBDI LS ECU work for Hondata, or would I need a GSR ECU?

thanks in advance!

ODBII started in '95, i believe. you will need an ODBI for a GSR for Hondata.....unless you dont want to use your Vtec.

Honda started OBDII in 96. So the 94 and 95 integras are OBDI. You will need a GSR ECU in order to obviously make it run. Good luck on whatever you do.
