Windshield washer pump/rear side marker

Hello,

my windshield washer pump doesn't work. I checked the fuse and its working (same as the wipers). I bought a new one, installed it and....nothing. I got back to O'Reilly auto parts, they tested the pump and its working. Any ideas what is wrong and how to fix that?

Second problem: My right rear side marker is burned. I wanted to change the pulb, but I couldn't even find how to go through to it! From the trunk I can't go through, from the outside are no screws. Any idea how I can fix that?

Thanks for any help.

Check your washer fluid hoses, they made be clogged. The light should be accessed behind the trunk carpet, deep inside the fender well.

Thanks for the reply. The hoses are fine, I checked them already. The punp doesn't even make a noise.

I tried to access the light from the trunk inside the fender, but there is no access.

Next thing I'd check is the windshield washer switch. I believe you checked everything else! As far as the light, my last guess would be checking if its accessable from underneath the car?

I just discovered another fuse only for the switch at the autozone repair manual...isn't mentioned in the users manual...I will check that one out...on my first check, I noticed that somebody had connected the fuses 6A and 8D with a wire, anybody knows for what?

Yes, I will try to access the light from below.

Thanks for all answers.

If they jumpered the fuse connector, they either didn't have any new fuses on them and just wired it up that way for a makeshift repair, or there's a short that kept blowing those fuses out that they never got repaired.
