New Car!!!

Alright it only took about 4 hours of debating prices, options and etc. but here is the new car. Picked her up for about $22,700, monthly payment is only $217 @ 7% interest :iceslolan. I love having good credit! The Eclipse was sold to a 25-or-so-year-old yesterday for $6500 with no stereo(stereo is worth around $1000 so I came out good). The new car runs very nice and gets great gas mileage. It came with optional sunroof, side airbags, and sound system. I can't wait to start modding her :naughty: Let me know what ya'll think...

Nice car man, I tell you, I'm not a fan of the neons (step mom had one, POS...the passenger side door didnt even open) the srt 4's should be better. What are u planning on doing to it?

As much as I would like to make fun of the "neon" SRT-4s, they are devastatingly fast put-the-box for the money. Good deal! :thumbsup:

Sweet car man. After I fix a few more thing in my car, I'm definitly going to sell it! Where I live kids go crazy for any kind of eclipse, so I hope mine should sell for some $$. But after that I might either get a 2000+mustang or maybe even a 1996-ish bmw 328ic !!!

Well i would LOVE to have a cobra (but all i maybe could afford is a v6), but if i was to find a good priced mustang i would put the cobra body kit on it and lower it a bit (nothing cheesy though).

But I am actually looking at the 1992-1999 Bmw 325ic or 328ic (2 door) (maybe even an m3....lol)....But who knows!!

yeha they stopped making all neons for 05, they will be replaced by an ugly hatch called the calliber and rumur is a 2340hp awd srt-4 version will be available.

Yeah his car is new and has about 260 miles on it. Got to go for a ride today, to bad he still has to break it in for 2k miles before we can really see what it does.

I would say dont buy a shitty v6 stang and throw a cobra body kit on, thats saying ricer. "Is that a cobra?", "no just a v6".

Nice srt4 though, if i didnt like trucks so much i would have gone after one of those. Having good credit is awesome. I plan to keep the credit rating great so i dont have to deal with shitty interest rates ever.

Buy an old cobra and mod the hell out of it. You can pick up an old one pretty cheap.

I see where your coming from with the whole ricer bullshit, but if I like the style and I want it on my car then I do as I please...Sure I wont have a v8 but, with me being 18 with little money, insurance would be sky high plus the price of the extra 2 cylinders plus the price of gas, just aint worth it.

i understand what you are saying, but if I was to get a mustang and put a cobra kit on it; I would do it purely for style not to act like I am fast.

But it would come off as you trying to look like you had something you didnt. I wouldnt see a problem unless you plastered "Cobra" all over it. Either way, you are doing what you want and more power to you, just be ready for the good and the bad.
