i need help fuel pump problem

i have 00 kia sportage manual the fuel pump is getting no power to it is there a cut off switch going to the pump? the fues box in the engine department looks like it is missing some fuese. The paper on the fues box is missing.the pump is good. Any help would be great

There are 2 relays under the hood in the fuse box. One for the EGI and other for the fuel pump. You can sway these and turn the key on and check and see if the Check engine light illuminates. If it doesnot the fuel pump relay is bad.
I always recommend replacing both.
Also use only factory relays. Aftermarket relays do not have the circuitry to power up the Heated O2 sensors and will turn the MIL on.
This is something common I have seen and its an easy diagnosis.
