2001 Blazer Wrecked Today

Loaned it to my dumba@! sister for the day and look what i get back. I need an estimate on how much this would cost. Anyone Plz Help :) !

Well I woldn't know how to estimate that damage, but from the pic's it doesn't look too bad. In all reality the price varries so much from center to center.

Plus the pic's don't do it justice
To me it looks like mostly a front bumper, and a couple of dings to fix.

When I loaned my car to my mom once it turned out being a whole lot worse (she hit a deer at 60+)

hope that your sis didn't get hurt... and has a good paying job to pay for the repair costs.

haha i wish i just got back the bumper alone is 500 bucks. She works at Disney Land Making 7.00 dollars an hour. Ehh lucky me.

BTW sis is fine just a little mad. I know for a fact she was speeding. Her friend was fallowing behind her and told me she was doing 85 + on a rainy freeway. Hence why i said Dumba!@ sister ahah.

To be perfectly honest where I live I would expect to pay around $1500, US so 1400 sounds about right to me.

Well cars can be fixxed or replaced daily (wait that's ford)

New bumper in the aftermarket is only a 100 bux. Painting by a local shop would be about another 100 or so. You can put it on your self (it's onlt 4 t50 bolts holding it down to the frame and 2 13mm bolts on either side for stablizing)

Gives you the opprotunity to get the bumper without that ugly impact strip!

Unless there's extensive damage that we can't see in the pics, that quote is extremely bloated.

I had a similar repair with my old S10. My kid took it and turned into oncomming traffic. You're lucky the lights are untouched. I spent a few hours with a prybar adusting things just right so the lights would sit right.

I suggest a 2 part approach. The first being the bumper. Get yourself a new or boneyard bumper - screw the auto shops, they work on big profits, check online - some boneyards also sell new aftermarket parts too. Install the bumper and get everything cleaned up. Part 2 - after getting everything clean take a good look at the body damage. Is it just that little ding and scratch? Try rubbing it out a bit with a good cleaner wax see if it's any better. Then you have to decide if it's something you can live with. If not then get it looked at by a couple of different shops - at least you saved a bunch of money with Gieco... I mean doing the bumper yourself.

the front grill was tweak. (probably from impact) i had to take of the lights and readjust. Is it me or are those lights freaken stupid to put back on. If you put it all the way in they look slanted. If you put them in loose they look purfect.

Sad thing is i just detailed and waxed the car THAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BTW the only other damage under is it the main bumper bracket is cracked and the skid plate has a crack in it to but that plastic heh.
