Hi all!
:banghead: :banghead: :banghead:
New to this forum but hoping to find some allies here. I am looking for anyone and everyone who has had any tranny issues with their trailblazer. At 37k (just 1k over warranty) my tranny blew. Dealer worked with me and actually repaired the tranny under warranty. At 60k the exact same part blew and the tranny was out again. I worked very hard with a representative at the GM 800 customer service number and after much negotiating, they offered to repair the tranny and split the cost at 50/50. I was not happy with this option, but accepted it. Well guess what, 30k miles later, the EXACT Same part on the tranny has blown AGAIN. Can you say angry???? I immediately called the dealer, and they advised me to call the GM 800 number, so I did. The customer service rep at GM gave me a laughable offer of 10-20% assitance. I am not going to go away quietly and accept such a ridiculous amount of assitance for an issue that is clearly a design default. I am looking for anyone and everyone who has had this type of problem with their trailblazer. What have you done, where has it gotten you, etc. Let's stand together and make GM accountable for an unsafe, unfair, horrible design default. Please post here or email me direct at

Seconded, lots of info but the important stuff, any HD driving conditions, ie: trailer towing, off road ?

The part that keeps going out is the sun shell gear. (I believe that is what it is called) The thing that is frustrating to me is the same thing on the transmissions keeps going out consistently at 30k miles. Have you had any problems? Thnx!

Like I said, this is the first time I have ever posted, so bear with me. I will go home and look at the paperwork from the prior repairs and put detailed information on the post and see if anyone can help. Thanks.
