2001 olds intrigue

i have had my 2001 intrigue for 2 years and i've had 2 problems. one the shifter knob has broke and i do'nt know how to remove the shifter because i can't find a manual for the car. Also the drivers side power seat won't move forward or backwards but, it moves up and down. don;t know if it is the switch or a relay. has anyoneelse had this happen can anyone help. thanks

you can get alldatadiy.com online manual for $25 a year. Otherwise it's Ebay and about $40-80 used or $120 new from Helm.
