parking light problem

hi guys i just baught a 90 teg. the parkings work when the ignition is off but as soon as i put it to on(engine running or not) the light shut off. even in the start position the lights are on. could it be the ignition switch? have any of you guys had this problem and what could it be? thanks

how the hell did you run a 14.97 with a stock b18a1? sorry for not answering your Q but i saw that in your sig and had to know.
