Ok, when I got my car it was in the middle of the summer and there was no real need to check things like the defroster. Well It is not Fall/Winter and It doesn't work!!! I have a 96 LS. THe button lights up when I press it, and the fuse under the dash is fine! But the defroster does nothing. What other connections can I check? ANd does anyone know what the hell those two metal nubs pointing down from the window are? Is there suposed to be anything connecting them or anything.

I believe there is supposed to be some plug or wires going to those nubs. Usually you'll see a connector or two wires going to a spot on the defroster. thats how it gets its power, assuming we are talking about the same thing.

I also have problems with my defroster, it used to work great but after the first winter I had it it just seems to barely get by now. It still works but it acts like its really weak and will clear off lines big enough to see through on the window but never fully defrost it.

So is there supposed to wires connecting the two nubs or something? Just trying to get some ideas of where else to look. Thanks for responding though.
