After a long 1.5 year hibernation I actually finished something :iceslolan
This is a Fujimi curbside 911 turbo cabriolet built almost straight from the box with some detail additions here and there. Quite a few parts needed a little adjusting to fit properly but I think the final result looks nice.
The paint is light gunmetal automotive lacquer painted straight from the can and finished with a couple of coats of clear and a polishing with LMG polishing kit. Interior floor mats are made from Model Factory Hiro's black carpet material (good stuff) and the windshield wipers are etched parts from Modelers'. Other details are made from plastic, Milliput, metal wire etc. The hood cover needed quite a lot of work with Milliput epoxy putty because of the bad fit. I also extended its sides into the interior tub. The rubber strip on top of the front bumper is made from a piece of black electric tape cut to shape. I detailed the grille of the tea tray rear spoiler with some #80 black metal mesh from Japanese company Work. With the mesh in place you can't see through the grille that there is no engine under the bonnet.
Ok, enough talking, here are the pictures:

Thanks for the compliments everyone! I don't know when I'll finish my next model or even what it is going to be, but I sure hope it'll be sooner than in the year 2007

I've got the hard top and conv. kits in the closet 1/2 way done and mine have also been there over a year, maybe it's the kit???? Great quality finish I love the paint choice.
