Has anybody had any trouble with the windshield washer fluid freezing with this model? I have a friend at work who has this trouble. I can't see the resevoir to see if it's frozen but you can definitely feel the tube as it runs up into the hood and it's frozen inside. She doesn't have a special winter formula of fluid in it and says she has never had this problem with any other cars until getting this Corolla. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Chad

Have her purchase a good quaility washer fluid. I had this problem years ago. I suspected that the quick lube place i used to go to was using watered-down washer-solution.
I never had another freeze-up when I purchased and filled my own reservoir.
She needs to wait for it to unthaw, run the washer until the reservoir is empty, then add the good stuff

You can buy a concentrate that you can add to the reservoir. Add a bottle or whatever is appropriate to the reservoir. Once the engine is hot, run the sprayer until the lines are flushed and that should be that.
