What To Do With My Audio?

OK, I need some advice. I have a 1990 Accord with DC Headers, DC Catback, APC Short Ram, Accel Wires, Clear Fronts, and Altezza Rears. I also have somewhat of a Stereo System. I have a Sanyo CD Head Unit, Jensen 600 Watt (Box states 200x2 RMS) Amp, 2 American Bass 10" Subs in a ported box, and a R.F. 1f Cap. Now I was thinking about investing in new Wheels (Motegi MR8) But then got to thinking about working on re-doing my whole stereo system. What would you do? New Wheels? or Work on my tunes? Is any of my "System" worth keeping? Any Suggestions welcome, Thanks!

Personally I would definately go for new wheels first. As of now, your system is more than adequate, and if it's set up and tuned properly, much better than what most people have(stock stuff). So I would say spend your money on something brand new that will give your car a rakish look and then later look into upgrading your upgrades.

I agree with Self. Your system sounds more than sufficient, but that depends on your interests. Properly tuned, you don't need anything more than you have. My setup is even more basic, with just a 12 in the trunk added to the stock system. It sounds great, and is balanced just the way I want it. I say go with the new wheels, they'll look great and give the car a complete look.

Do the rims, and as far as the system goes, I say you change the head unit cause I have heard bad things about sanyo, but everything else seems top notch

Unless you forgot to mention them, I would definatly get some 6.5 speakers to go in your doors. You can unhook the rear ones because it sounds better (from experience). I got my Infinity References from Circuit City in Mentor for like $100 and they sound awesome. After that, I would also consider upgrading the Head Unit, but if it sounds good to you, keep it. Your subs and amp should be sufficient unless you want to hear them from 3 miles away.
BTW, do not say you are getting Motegi wheels. Motegi is made by the same company as American Racing wheels. That is like putting windshield washer LEDs on your car. I don't have a problem with them, just warning you ;)

Actually, it's more like putting a chikara header on your car.

Yeah, I got new speakers in the front and the rear. Song 3-ways in the back, Pioneer-ways on the doors (hard to find 3 ways that would fit) and some Jensen tweeters in the middle (the side pannel between the front and rear doors). I was looking at selling my Jensen amp and American Bass Subs on e-bay and then buying a Lanzar Vibe Amp (500x1 RMS, 1000 max) with an Audiobahn 600 RMS Sub. What do you guys think about this? Should I go with 1 Audiobahn or 2 200 RMS JL's? I dont know if I am going to go with the wheels quite yet. As far as a Head Unit, I was looking at the Blaupunkt San Jose (I think that is the one, it plays MP3's).

Whatever you do with the head unit, please do not get a kenwood. My friend had one in his '97 prelude which broke within a month 1/2 and kenwood wouldnt cover it under the manufacturer warranty because his mp3 cds were BURNED.

Why doesn't he take it back to the store?

Ummm, the STORE not taking it back and KENWOOD not taking it back are two totally differant things. Kenwood HAS to take a product back, there is a law that says so -- have your buddy call up Kenwood and have him tell them that he has a product problem that is after the 30 days so the store will not take it back... if they refuse, let me know and ill dig up the old book and info for you.
