99 starter and radio

a friend of mine just recently bought a 99 intrepid. im not sure of any specs or exact details as its not mine. we recently purchased a stock 6 disc changer for it off ebay and i was curious if anyone new where we could find the connection wire(s) or part numbers or would know what all might be needed to connect it. also hes having trouble starting his car. when he turns the key sometimes it starts sometimes it just clicks. he already had the starter replaced by dealer and it still does it. ive seem some other posts on like that. i was just wonder if this is a normal or common thing for this year and model?

my 98 2.7L does the same, sometimes start sometimes nothing! have you and your buddy found any solutions yet?
