Does anyone know why the 79-93 mustangs are called fox body mustangs?? or where it came from???

because it is built on the Fox chassis.
why its the fox chassis? idk but my guess is its named after someone. or maybe theyre trying to sound agile? idk, just a thought

It's because when you have only your parking lights on on a 87-93 Mustang, it looks like fox eyes.
