I recently wrecked my 2000 metro by overrunning some green telephone boxes, busting a rim and bending it beyond belief.
now i did an inspection of the underbody and noticed there is some sort of weight mid - shaft on the left side. There isn't on the right and now the car shakes at highway speeds above 45 mph.
can anyone verify the existence of a weight on the right cv shaft ?

its usually made mostly out of rubber, supposed to help damped vibration in the long axle. i would have car checked somewhere, you could have another bent rim or a axle could be bent. not good whatever it is
