doh!
what's the stakes?
EDIT-NEVER give yourself only one line of attack, it almost always means death. ALWAYS have at least 2, 3 if possible. The more the better. Also, try to make two completely different pieces work together to confuse your opponent whilst also moving a somewhat powerful piece into position.
I rarely lose chess.

Chess is all about checkmating the others' king. By "attack" I mean your path(s) and strategy. Chess is ALL about strategy.

I guess if you want, go ahead and pick on my grammar/sentence structure. I just find it hard to read, I'm sure many others do too.
I'm wondering how the game went.

I think everyone and their mother can do that if their opponent is brand new to the game. If they have any idea how to play your gonna get stonewalled on your 4 move checkmate

Is there some website that tells you how to do the checkmate in 4 or 5 moves? I played a little, and know the rules, but I just don't know how to do that.

It's called the Fool's Mate. Look it up, it's really common...but you can defend against it by moving just one peice, so it's easily broken. I prefer the King's side knight for my opener.

Well, hubby was late gettin home from work thursday, so I had my little brother bring his game board over for practice. He is a chess fanatic...Tha game lasted like an hour and a half between us. Needless to say he whooped my ass... lol... Me and my little sister played after that. ( she loves chess also ) I beat her....yeah!!!!!!Then hubby walked in as I got her king in check mate...I was so proud of my self...Hubby thaught it was funny that I learned to play in a day. But I aint perfect. I kinda like tha game now. I am addicted....lol....I know, I am a nerd!!!! Any who, my and hubbys game went well, but it was hard for me to focus with my kids running aroung screaming and banging on tha walls, so he got me. But we agreed that game dosent count cuz all tha noise....So we will go again prob tomarrow after tha kids are down in bed....I am really proud of myself.......Lol....thanks for tha sites with tha rules....they really helped me out.

lots of board/card games are pretty addicting. My girlfriend and I play Uno all the time. We have a dry erase board where we keep track of our running scores and total games won( first to 500 points) So far we have played about 60 games. They can take awhile to actually get to 500 pts too. But its great fun.
Im currently dominating 38-23 and about 5k ahead in points.
You'll now find yourself wanting to play chess every chance you can. Or whenever your bored.

right....... :disappoin
If they dont know how to block it it is possible. You move the pon in gront of the king up two move the queen horizontal next to the pon you moved and then move the biship out and take the queen stait up to the pon horizontal to the enemies king and your biship is protecting the queen, and the only peice that can take the queen is the king, Check mate biotch..... I got a doc friend of mine with it because he was not paying attentions. I was playing the dumb EMT on that one...lol He wanted a rematch and i beat him again....lol
