Idle Air Control

I just started driving my car since my swap (b16 in 91 civic hatch)and it reads a code 14 the IAC what could i do to fix it,and is there anywhere to lower the idle besides the throttle cable. oh and i need to know what i should set my fuel pressure at i have a header chipped ecu exhaust intake

you fuel should be between 31-38 psi to be within spec. about the IAC valve, what is your idle at right now? it should be 650-750. if the idle is at the right speed, then just reset the ECU and see if the light comes on again. if not, take out the valve and make sure it is clean, and can still work as a valve. if it is working fine, then start the car and get it up to normal temperature. then adjust the idle adjust screw to the appropriate idle speed. i cant tell where it is from this shitty chilton picture without actually going at looking at the motor. good luck.

Make sure you got the right plug plugged onto the IAC. There are a couple on the harness that can plug into it. If the connector is correct, reset the ecu, then replace the IAC

you should check the IAC valve to make sure that is the problem before you just replace it.
