It has come time to replace my radiator, however I noticed the nice little GM stamp on top of the radiator. I've had the truck for about 3 years w/o any cooling problems - until now. Does anyone have any info about this radiator? Possibly cheaper? Or maybe better cooling...Also, just swapped out the water pump, pretty easy job!

Sounds like you have a replacement radiator, not factory original.
Would be interesting to know the specs on it.
If you have a 22R/E, you can upgrade to a 22RTE (3 row) rad for < $100 from your local TransPro (GoDan radiator) wharehouse.

Where was your truck manufactured? Some GMs and Toyotas are made on the same line.

Check with your local radiator shop. They may be able to recore your radiator for less than the cost of replacing.

Yeah, I figured it was not original equipment, however, I will double check where it was assembled. I will tackle this small project this coming weekend. I will also check into re-coring. Thanks for the suggestions and help.

Your GM radiator is ORIGINAL equipment. You can get a good radiator at http://www.radiatorbarn.com/ . The GM on is probably not worth rebuilding.

New radiator has been installed. The GM radiator was shot to hell. Decided to get the 3 core 22rte from NAPA for $140.00. Pretty straightforward install, other than it has been about 5 degrees outside during the day. Thank goodness for my garage. Thanks for the suggestions KimMG and fourwd1.
