p0410

I had a code that was p0410 i went to mr. goodwrench they fixed it. now the check engine light is off and ther is no code that comes up, but my car is driving funny the rpm goes up to 3 (i dont think thats good, but i dont know) and the car makes a humming noise after 40mph. Is my transmission about to go out? Or does this have something to do with what i just fixed? any suggestions on how i should handle this. i just paid $800.00 to fix this problem. is ther something i can do to prevent my transmission going out. if that is the issue...yes i am girl...lol help please!!! 2001 olds aurora 3.5 6cyl
