Can someone offer some advice? I have a 1990 Firebird, it started out with the positive cable being cracked. After replacing it I couldn't get it started. I have replaced the regulator and gasket the fuel pump distributor coil. I have gas all the way up to the injectors. It turns over but will not start. Any ideas?

check if your getting a spark. take off the wire from the distributor, ground it ..or put a gap on it..and have someone crank your engine..watch out! its 30K volts or so...but if you ground it to engine/body it'll be fine. if the spark isnt big, its ur ign. coil. im guessing u changed that since it says so..but, doesnt hurt to check.
If its not sparking, its something before your ign coil, prolly. cehck all your fuses..fusible links..auto-reset breakers. (Well at least the ones for ignition) u can find it all if you buy a manual for your car...the elctronics schematics will come w. it.
IF it is sparking, open ur dist. caps and check if anything INSIDE is broken (rotor/cap) since u changed the distributor, its prolly fine? unless it was installed wrong...i dont think anything ELSE could be wrong with it..
my first guess::?
1) FUSES
2) fUsible links
3) rotor/cap. glucks :]
