HELP with negative camber!

As the title says, the negative camber on my car is ALOT! I already read the whole entire stickie by GSXhooptie but I still have some questions...

I am in bad need of putting a kit on the rear tires (I most likely with Home Depot that mod) But for the front...the camber is not as significant as the rear, but the tires are still wearing much fast on the inner edge compared to the whole tire. Is this Okay? how much negative camber is ok? Also I would rather have the to last as long as possible, would that mean zero camber?

The rear tires are that bad! The outer edge is pratically brand new and the inner edge is gone...Would the Home Depot mod be alright (since it will be cheaper)!

get both kits...you'll be burning up tires like nothing. spend the money on the camber kits and your problems will be solved. once the kits are on, get an alignment and your tires will last as long as they're meant to.

it also depends on what kind of driving you do, if you autocross you'll want to run more negative camber than if you don't.

Negative camber isn't ok in any circumstance no matter how much its off, any neg. camber will cause the inside of the tire to wear unevenly from the rest, and once a tire is worn on the inside it will continue to wear the same way even if you do get it aligned. So you already have to buy new tires and you have to pay for an alignment on top of that. If your rears are like that how low did you drop the car? Do you have coilovers? I bought a rear camber kit off of the internet, and all it came with is a bunch of washers and a new upper control arm mounting bracket. All I would have had to do it buy washers and I could have fixed the rear camber. So keep that in mind.

Unfortunatly everything was already done to the car (but hey its all brand name stuuf though), Im not sure what kind of suspension is on it now, but it both shocks and springs! It must be lowered a good 3 inches...I am planning on doing the rear kit myself (with washers and whatever) but I have read that the front wheels are a different story...

i've done both kits (front and rear) and neither of them are really that tough. although i bought the rear kit instead of using the washer method (the washer method seems kinda sketchy to me, suspension is an important part so i like to do it right without ghetto-rigging it).
on the front you just un-bolt the spring/struts from the strut mounts and install the handy-dandy little adjuster that they send you.
the rear was just a set of bushings that moved everything over a little bit, neither were really that though though.

Meh, a degree and a half is probably okay. It's a matter of just how much you want. Camber will help you ace the turns, but at the expense of tire life. Eliminating all camber actually makes the car unstable.

The HD kit works fine, if you want to use it. Get the alignment afterward. Changing camber changes toe, and toe is a more major issue than camber, afterall.
