turbo timer

Ok im trying to move my turbo timer from on top of the steering collomn to under neith the cd player but the harness isnt long enough is there a way to make it longer or do i need to get another harness to move it? The reason im moving it is because it has been acting weird. Today it wouldnt turn off the car so im guessing that the heat is affecting it. Or is there another place that i can move it because i will have to move it again when im ready to put the safc in to move things around.

i doubt the heat has anything to do with it..check and make sure it's plugged in completely and it's set perfectly. maybe some of your connections came undone or something else.
