I have a 1990 Talon AWD TSI. When driving home one day the car just shuts off. The car will crank over and I have spun the cam angle sensor and the injectors are firing. The car has brand new plugs and wires in it and I put a new coil pack in. I have had a remanufactured ECU and I had a new ignition module in there. Still it wont start. What could be the problem?

and have you checked to make sure there's spark, or are you just assuming there is because you have new coil, wires, and plugs?

start checking harnesses, fuses, and all that shit. start at the base of the problem and work your way back. make sure the coil's getting power, if not, make sure there's not a fuse blown or something. get a wiring schematics to help you out with this.

Hi,i don't know if you find you're problem yet otherwise try to find 1990 mitchell book. In the beginning of that book the're a section explaining in detail step by step witch part to check and also how to check it (no spark problem). You don't need a diagnostic computer only a ohmeter. Also in that book, there a section with complete electrical schematic of you're car.
Last week a had no fire on my spark plug for my talon 1990 2l non-turbo and with this book i find the problem in less than 1 hour.
