When do you change Tranny fluid on a 2003?

I have a 2003 Cavalier with just over 52000 miles on it. The last time I had an oil change at my local jiffy lube, the guy told me that at around 50000 miles I should have my tranny fluid replaced. I was wondering if this were true or can I wait a little longer before doing this? I don't remember seeing anything in my owners manual stating that I need to change my tranny fluid at 50000 miles, but this is what the guy at Jiffy Lube stated that was in his records for 2003 Cavaliers. Thank you for your time.

Dont worry about it yet. U should be ok for another 20,000 miles. However if your still worried give it a look. look at the color of the transmission fluid.
