I am absolutely puzzled at the paint used on this car. It is the black GSX that I am working on. DOT 3-didn't work, citrus strip-didn't work, sanding-extremely difficult. I tried the easy-off in the ziploc bag and got confusing results. It only stripped half the paint off the car. Seriously the back half is almost completely bare while the doors forward is still untouched. I may have to break down and get something volitile but am still resistant because of the area that I have to work in.

no matter where you live or what conditioins you have this stuff will work but you will need chemcical resistant gloves. It's called Klean-Strip KS-3 PREMIUM, you can get it at home depot or any other hardware store. it's extremely good! it takes paint off in less than 15 mintues and it can cut through multiple layers of any finish. it's the most powerful stripper they make and i use it all the time! pick ups ome of this and you won't have any more problems

citrust strip did not work? weird.. it works for varnish on wood.. and I have never had a problem with it.. Citrust strip is a jell so it stays where you want it to. Never had a problem with the citrus.. but who knows! glad you found something that worked.
