my style 240

this is how i like to see 240's but the only things wrong with this 240 is the wing (so ugly) andthe front bar with that divided airscoop where the numberplate would be and i LOOOOVE that hood, definatly going on my 180 when i start modding the body.

sleepy eyes in that car look stupid. The car is alright for my taste. Looks like the sponsor went bankrupt though.

i think the sleepy eyes look pretty good apart from the fact that one is up more then the other.

lol you guys are dumb thats koguchi....his sponsor will never go down lol. He is 180 drift legend. That car is nice. Of course there are things we'd change. Actually i think the rhd 180 someone uses in formula d is one of his old 180's. He has plenty. His green one was the shit too. The hood is a koguchi hood, and so is the front bumper grill. He made that shit. But there are plenty knock off designs like it from good companies. Iv got like a 5 minute in-car clip of him driving that thing at the first drift event in america if i remember correctly. I like his style to be honest. Not all flayered up, but decently moded. Riveted wides are the sex if you ask me. If its done nice and clean. And whats wrong with the wing lol just looks like a mini wangan. Stock is wrong now??? wtf is the world coming too?

i like the car. i also think its one of the better wings. sometimes wings on the hatches turn out kinda goofy looking. that one on fastandfuriouseast.com or whatever that site was (the red one, turbo KA, with those sick ass headlights) had the nicest wing ive ever seen i think they said it was custom.

Wings is nasty, rest is ok for a sponsored drift car.

Thats why we'll regard you as a newb for while to come, no respect for the old school. On that car, those fender flares are pimp.

i wouldn't do that to my car.. imo, the hood is ugly, the fenders are ghetto, stock foam spoiler, the front bumper is ugly, ghetto paint job for a sponsored car, and has an old imprint of a nissan emblem on the bumper. on the side of the car's defence, it IS a drift car and therefore the ghetto shit can be excused to a certain extent. also, the most important parts of a drift car can't usually be seen, such as the suspension and shit. i'm sure that car has thousands of dollars invested in drift-specific hardware.

finally, even if the car isn't completely mint, its reputation will still be on the shoulders of the driver, and like chuki said, its koguchi so the car deserves some respect. may not be the prettiest on the outside but it probably performs like no other.

Let me repphrase that, molded widebody is gay on a drift car, any widebody is gay on a street car. (no offense dirftking, but I don't like widebody :P)

let me clarify a few things. yes i have a full charge speed wide body kit. yes my widefenders are rivet, but there discrete, which is what i was going for. And Slidestar, thats ok you dont like widebody, diffrence is between my widebody and some other peoples is. by the end of the year next year) i should be putting 400whp to the ground running some really wide ass tires, with a bitchin suspension. thus making my car fast and handle awesome...meaning...i need the widebody.

i love most body body mods (including widebody) unless they are ricey or extremely distasteful etc...I like the chargespeed kit hehe...

Body mods suck, but that's just me. And driftking, I'm sorry, but you could run some fucking wide ass tires front and back with stock fenders and the car would handle awesome. You don't need 315 rear tires to hold 400whp, 255 will do fine and you can easily fit that under stock fenders. Your car looks great, just useless in my eyes, but again, that's just me.

everyone's got their things, but yeah you probably dont need to run that wide of tires for 400hp..unless it's some monster track car i guess...

ill second that body mods suck. And assad, you listed almost all of the body mods that would be ABLE to fall under rice. Let me underline the hood and wing mods, but a decent, yet not too flashy body kit can look ok. But still not very useful unless your going for show, or need the mods. In drift kings place, his car was wrecked and decided to just go forth with insurance money and to the widebody correct? If so, id do the same.

this is what i dont understand, if you have a 180 and you spend 5k on the engine and then lower it get some nice rims and get a body kit your concidered a ricer? to me a ricer is someone who has 20 inch chrome spinners on a 180 with a bodykit and not lowered and a stock engine.

nah body kits arnt rice. Some are actually good for the car. c-west is all wind tunneled. not wings west...C-west. There are some kits out there that do "perform". RE's widebody kit for the rx-7 is used in the gt300 right?? But that is a very expensive kit lol.

assad, not too many people will want to spend money on functional body kits so they'll buy useless ones. i think anything that isn't functional is rice, but thats MY definition. we all have our own definitions.

we had a whole 7 or 8 page thread on what a ricer actually is, and with a brief search, i couldn't find it but if you or anybody else wants to look for it, then go ahead, post it if you can, but don't let this start another terrible thread about what a ricer is and what a ricer isn't.

if you spend $5000 on an engine, then get ricer wheels and ricer body kit, then you are a ricer.
if you spend $0 on an engine, then spend $5000 on nice rims and a nice body kit, you are a ricer.
