P0141 and P0443 Error codes?

Alright my car has been running shitty it's got the 6bolt in it so i wasn't suprised it had a cel, but these codes kinda confuse me.
P0141 Is the second o2 sensor (no suprise there)
P0443 is Evaporative Emission control system purge valve circuit malfunction.
Anyone know if this could be making my car run shitty? All the emissions bs is off (egr blocked and evap can gone)

I wouldn't think either of those would have anything to do with your car running shitty. I've pulled both codes before on my car with no problems. P0141 is something screwed with your secondary 02 sensor and P0443 is just a hose loose off the back of the throttle body. But you said you got rid of the evap system so...but either way I'm not thinking it would make the car run shitty.

I didn't think so either but i've been looking around on tuners and it seem like a lot of people have similar problem with idle suge and bogging when they get this code.

I didn't take the evap crap off the previous owner did and by the looks of it they just blocked off the evap tube from the tank. I though it ws supposed to have a breather on it...I think i'll take the screw out and clear the ecu and see what happens.

Alright i took off the screw blocking the line that went to the evap canister and that fixed it!!I'm getting a breather for it tomorrow cause i don't want crap getting in there (or maybe i just steal aaron's)

lol. It's funny how the craziest problems can be fixed so easily on these cars. I'm glad you fixed it :)

Thanks, me too. Who would have thought something like that would make it run so shitty and bog down?

Well doesn't the evap system have to do with fuel pressurization? If so I assume it was causing the fuel to be inadequate for ideal combustion. Just my :2cents: though.

Plugging the tank vent line would cause vapor lock if the tank couldn't draw air in to replace the fuel being used. The second O2 sensor monitors catalytic converter efficiency. In other words, if the converter goes bad, the CEL will come on....

Yeah i knew it wasn't supposed to be blocked, i'm just glad it's fixed, oh and e uh catalytic converter.. uh seems to have been "misplaced" lol.
Aaron: Slips now Randall/Rt. 62!!

My cat. has also been "relocated"...in the scrap pile. You know an O2 simulator from jegs or summit will fix the O2 sensor code..

Actually i'm not getting that code anymore either...strange

Yeah, my code came and went. According to the sensor, my ghost converter would work some of the time...

Goddamn it! I went to go to work today and got the same codes again!! After a few minutes it was bogging down really bad again. Also the egr solenoid, purge solenoid and the fuel pressure solenoid are all gone, I know they're not vital but they are all missing...

The fuel pressure solenoid is a MUST!!!!

I'm pretty sure the fuel pressure solenoid is not necessary
"...The right-most solenoid, marked with a green arrow, is the fuel pressure solenoid. This solenoid allows the engine control computer to temporarily raise the fuel pressure for hot starting purposes. This is accomplished by cutting off the vacuum hose going to the fuel pressure regulator. It is not used for anything else..."

Ooh, Ha, i though you meant you completely removed the regulator...duh, nevermind....

Dear All, need some help here.
I am driving a 2004 Toyota Vios 1.5L 1NZFE which recenetly have the "Check engine" light ON. A local auto shop check error code and found P0443 (Evaporative Emission Control System Purge Control Valve Circuit Malfunction). They change the Vaccume Sw (17650G) but the problem after 10 mins, the Check Engine Lights is still ON with the same code.
They have no solution for me..! :crying:

What else can I check? :banghead:
