I am helping a friend.I thought she was nuts when she told me her heater quits blowing on right turns. She also said her dash lights for "brakes" and Battery come on.I drove it to check it out.Shes right. I am a certified tech but I never saw such a thing.I found wires touching the steering shaft but they were not damaged so I tied them up out of danger.I found wires touching the Pitman arm,and tied them up.Again no damage but no cure.No tsb's on it.I dont usually work on Isuzu and the wiring diagram gives little clues.Anyone got Ideas?

brake and battery light on means the alt is bad.

but it sounds like you have some lose wires so who knows what it could be?

I know this sounds weird, but once I was low on oil, when I stopped the blower went off and then went back on. I dont want to tell you how much oil I needed.

Check the plastic accessories plug on the back of the alternator. The clips on mine were broken and it caused the blower motor to stop working and the Brake, Battery, and one other warning light to come on.

I think that paulsantangelo was onto something with the low oil. All the accessories are powered through an oil pressure switch. I actually had the reverse problem at one point. After shutting down the engine and removing the key, the heater blower would still operate and radio would be on, etc. I found that the problem was a sticking oil pressure switch. If your friend is low on oil and a right turn causes low pressure then you will cerainly lose power to you accessories.
