ok guys 2 months ago i bought a RF Power T3002 AMP click here (http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=459142)
and this amp keeps blowing my P2's (good thing for insuranse) now i have decided to sell my subs and buy a single sub.
my amp was tested and is making 816 W RMS @ 1 OHM so i decided to buy a sub making close to 800RMS and bridge the amp. what do u recomend. remember it's going on a 97 Deville so it's hard for the outside crowd to hear. or do u think i should keep what i got?
thanks

RE audio SX (more SPL oriented)
or RE audio SE (more SQ oriented)

SX- 1000w RMS (D2 coils)
SE 600w RMS (D4 coils)

so wire the SX to 1ohm of hte SE to 2 ohm and you'll be good.

RE Audio is very highly recomended here, CB is saying the SX models are for SPL or loud setups and the SE models are for SQ or quality setups.

SX is 2ohm Dual Voice Coil 1000watts rms. wire a parallel circuit through ur VCs for 1 ohm. you could wire ur VCs in series for 4ohm.

EDIT: sorry, changed bad info.

Powerhandleing doesnt work that way but yeah....

1000w and 600w RMS no matter how it is wired. the only way to gain power handleing is to add more coils :D

and not that SX's are "SPL" only. they are more SPL oriented like 80% of todays mainstream drivers.

wahts your budget anyway?

Image Dynamics may be making a come back on this forum...lol.

i havent seen an new ID install in forever.

well all i need is 1 sub so my budget is $300-400 even better if less. I am leaning more towards "SPL" than "SQ" the louder the better.
i have been searching for RE Audio but i cant find where they sell it any links?
thanks

an alpine type r would prolly be your cheapest way to go. dont worry itll handle 800 rms just make sure your amp isnt clipping.

i have two off like 650 a piece and theyre pretty damn loud.
