My '93 Metro is quite noisy when going 60 mph....
Even in the summer with street tires.
I just put studded snows on for winter here in Spokane, WA.
The studs made it even noisier!
Then today it snowed and it stayed on the road.
Quiet! Like driving in a Cadilac !!
ALL the noise in my Geo Metro is from the tires!
The snow was packed but soft and muffled the road noise.....

might get under it and spray wheel arches underneath with good coating of undercoat
