Umm....Bolt up? You'll need some piping and some couplers, but you can use fmic and the stock turbo.

You don't really need a FMIC with the stock turbo, but lol i guess it will help some.

are you planning on modding very heavily anytime soon down the road? if not, just sell the intercooler. the smic's are good till about 350hp.

not really man, the sidemount's can't flow very much air while cooling it. Once you get past that, the knock count will go crazy. Also, heatsoak will be imminent. In the poster's case, keep the sidemount until you upgrade.

that's why i asked if he planned on upgrading in the future? if not there's not really any reason to keep that intercooler if he's got no needs for it. i know a guy that's pushing almost 500hp through the stock smic and a cryo intercooler sprayer, although it's been modded with larger openings and such, he's still running the stock smic.

No you won't. It will actually make your car run a little better.
It's just a little overkill for your turbo but it definately won't hurt it.

I wouldn't bother with the trouble of the install. What's the point. There should be some pressure drop with the bigger IC, which is bad, along with cooler intake temps, which is good, for a net benefit of "who really cares." I'm all for working on a car, but not for no reason.

well stated.

100% agreed. i wouldn't bother putting it on until you absolutly need it. it's not exactly the most easy installation.
