What is a good speed to drive at on a regular basis to keep the car working properly? I heard that driving above certain speeds(relatively low, around 60 mph) wears the parts down supposedly b/c 3000gts aren't meant to go that fast on the street...does this seem right or is this info. incorrect?

it's a grand touring car. it's just fine at those speeds on the street. and any other speed for that matter.
somebody might have been comenting that the gear ration on the 5-speeds are bad for cruising because 80mph is like 3k rpm which sucks for gas milage.

Any speed is fine...Granted parts will wear faster at 160mph than at 45 :)

55mph is supose to be the best speed for gas mileage, but i dont think anybody bought a 3000GT because it gets good gas mileage ;)

and as far as for wear and tear, it depends on how much you push it to get to a certine speed. If you change gears around 3-4k rpm or less, that should be the least amount of wear.
