i'm sure many people on here have asked you all to recommend an mp3 player. well i'm going to do the same.

first off, this mp3 player is going to be a present for my dad on christmas. so my first requirement (if you can call it that) is that it have a fairly legible screen. my dad has a hard time reading real small print. Secondly, i want it to have dedicated volume control and track control buttons. i'm looking to spend no more than $200. i'm thinking in terms of size, anything up to like 5 gigs.

I know for a fact that with in the first week he would break a nano, so that's out of the question. any recommendations would be wonderful. i was looking at the creative zen micro but i'm not real sure.

to sum it all up.

an mp3 player with:
-legible screen
-dedicated volume and play back controls
-around $200
-around 5 gigs of memory.

Does your dad care how big it is? I hate the little tiny mp3 players they are making these days. They are just too fragile to use for years and years.

the new zen whatever its called from creative has a pretty good screen size. i dont know about the controls, but its not a wheel, there are different buttons to push.

if i was you i would get him a Dell DJ, theyre cheap, pretty well made, easy to use
