i took my car in to get fixed and when i got it back three lights were on. ABS, SERVICE VEHICLE SOON, TRAC OFF
i have never seen any of these lights on before so i really find it odd that i would have these problems all at once. Could it just be some weird malfunction?

Sounds like either one of your ABS sensors or wheel bearings are going bad. Have it scanned for codes then you find out the direct reason. Good luck

What was just fixed, any connection with these issues? If you don't understand the basic advice given here, you need professional intervention to resolve this problem.

that information probably would have been useful, but my lack of knowledge is really hurting me. I wrote it down, but i cant find the paper. I had some electrical thing replaced because my car was not starting. I dont believe it is related to these lights though.

What do they use to check the ABS light? I don't think an ODB II reader will work? Will it?

If you want further help you will have to put forth some effort yourself. You said you had some stuff replaced but don't remember what as you lost the paper. Well, call them and ask what they replaced and why and then let us know. Also, how long ago?
OBD II scanners and codes are only checking emission control items which can activate your "Check Vehicle Soon" light. Advance Auto Parts and others can look at the PCM/ECU to read the code that activated this light. But OBD II has nothing to do with ABS and the other stuff like ETS, Lo Trac etc. A very high $'s machine is needed to evaluate ABS stuff.
However, if the lights weren't on when you drove (I presume) the car into the shop then they shouldn't have been on when you drove out. Take it back and tell them to fix it. Good Luck
