I dunno, i didn't really think he was being that much of a dick. I mean, 90% of f-body guys are cocky, myself included. But we know when we are out matched. The guy knew the civic had nothing, so he was calling him out. The if the guy popped his hood an showed a turbo and an engine swap...im pretty sure it would have shut up the LT1 guy.

I got raped by a CRX who i knew had an engine swap and a bottle. I didn't want to race cuz i knew i was out gunned. All my friends told me to race him cuz his bottle wasn't hooked up. They all knew he was gonna use his spray, but knew i couldn't bitch out of a all NA motor race. My freinds even wanted to see the big bad Trans Am get smoked. So needless to say when im in second he hits his spray and all i see is white flames shooting out the back of his fart cannon :shakehead .

And on another occasion, a guy in a 350z asks if i want to race. I ask him what he's got, he says nothing. I say ok, lets go. I get beat by a car length 3 times. After the races we park and talk...turns out he has just about every bolt on possible, easily outgunning my LT1. Im not one of those guys who just wants to race for fun. I want to win, so i respectfully decline when i know i can't.
