1G-GTEU durability

is it true that they can hold upto and in some cases over 15psi with only intercooler ungrade and stock turbos? not taking fuel limiter into consideration...

from what i have read and been told the stock turbo's on a 1g-gte shouldnt be boosted any higher than 14psi as the turbines start to self destruct at anything higher than around 13psi

They "can" be boosted to 15psi+ without destruction for a long period of time from my experience, but there's no point, it's nothing but hot air and very inefficient. If you want any real power there are a huge number of aftermarket turbo kits and individual parts for the 1G.
