I have the same thing. Thought it was the balljoints... nope. thought engine mounts... nope (but did need to be replaced). Im thinking it might be the shocks.

I notice mine does it everytime when pulling into my driveway making a slow left turn. IDK what the deal is. It is a pop. Does it when acclerating and braking at times.

mine does that slow left thing also the wheel will just turn on its own to the left.

i had a grand am that used to do that...it was the mounts for the lower control arms or some shit like that...it was awhile ago but you might as well check those out too.

Mine does the exact same thing and with only left turns(especially into the driveway). Are you sure it's not the lower ball joints?

when i replaced my controll arm i reused my old ball joint because itwas fine also i dont thini its that because i dont see how a ball joint could make my car fight me threw turns.

It sounds like the intermediate shaft to me. The shaft that turns the gear in the power steering rack will make a popping noise and cause heavy steering when it goes bad.

I got the ball joints replaced already, and then resealed by the dealer. Those are in perfect shape. Next spring ill get it checked out. THings been making the noise forever now.

I can provide you with an accurate quote, but my computer can't figure out what kind of car you drive.

Your computer must be a Pentium 1 running Windows 3.1 then.

I couldn't stop laughing when I read that. Most people usually say what kind it is and you went right ahead and made him feel like a dumbass instead.
