Weird electrical problem...guages pegging/chime...

So I was driving home today when my seatbelt/door chime starts ringing(which it normally never does) and all of my guages except my speedometer pegged to zero, including the tach. I have been noticing a slight stuttering and severe lack of power, especially going up hills. The guage pegging/chime combo has happened a couple of times intermittently in the past month or so. Another distinct symptom is my engine seems to be kind of "bogged down" up until I reach about 2500 or so RPMs at which point it seems to come "unstuck" and act a little more like it should. I have replaced the entire ignition system from the distibutor all the way to the tips of the plugs, and just because I was having some problems still, I replaced the ignition coil and module both delco using the radio shack white grease yadda-yadda. My fuel pump is new, filter, sock, etc. I am completely stumped and I really want to be in shape for my ride to Alabama this christmas to see some family. Help!!!! This is a 1986 2.8 v6 71000 ish miles
