Yeah, I've been talking about getting a Camaro to replace my Corolla for a while. At first I wanted a 3.8, then the LT1, and I finally found a great LS1 with 50,000 miles in excellent condition for only $9,000. Only one minor detail... it isn't a Camaro.

As stated, it's all the same. Plus I think the LS1 Camaros look kinda... Chrysler Sebringish :uhoh: The LT1 Camaro front ends look so much meaner.

haha.. i've been looking into an LT1 TA for quite some time now, i had arrangements last winter until all hell broke loose with my money and i had to bail.. someday i'll be there.. lol

Heh same thing here.. I know about probably 3 guys that drive Mustangs in my HS and like 10-15 girls.

:iagree:. Think about the performance of the motor's alone ! A brand new 05 Stang (granted they look pretty cool) has only 300 HP with a 3 OHV cyl. head ! I know It's only a 281 cu. block but they could of put the bigger 5.4 ltr. in it with DOHC 4 valve's ? Back in 98 (almost 8 yrs ago!) The F-body was puttin' out 335 to 345 HP conservatively (2 valve per cyl to boot) ! Stang's Sucks !!!! :boink: They gotta throw on a Supercharger and they still only turn High 13 sec. ET's (Cobra?) ! Fuckin Weak . :greddy2:

speaking of that, i beat a procharged '98 gt the other day... procharger was puttin out almost 12psi of boost... i was like "wtf?" just seems like a waste of money to me...

Gots ta do the long tubes and slp loudmouth. Then you will achieve a new plateu of zen. A buddy of mine has a 98 z28 with the slp loudmouth cat back. that thing barks. Sounds good with the ls1 motor. He aiming to get some hooker long tubes and a ypipe soon. Supposedly with the hookers and a very other brands you can slip the headers right in without even moving the block. Its gonna be one loud sob.

The main reason people buy mustangs is because
A. They are extremely cheap (I found a 92 5.0 for $1200)
B. They are easy to swap a bigger more powerful engine in it.
C. They have a massive aftermarket
D. They can actually turn unlike some of our camaros

Alright and here's my rebuttle.

A. They're cheap so they break down easier.
B. With a Camaro you wont have to do this.
C. So do Camaros, whats the point?
D. With a suspension upgrade, Camaros can turn like they're on rails, and really they both turn exactly the same anyway.
