Question for the guys and gals

Does gender matter when racing?? do you guys in here ever raced a girl before?? and does any girls (if they're any) in here that race girls AND guys?? im asking this because today i saw a nice 300z (body kit, twin cannister exhaust) and messed around with it, i think it was a girl behind the wheels (or a guy with funky hair), when i saw the driver looked like a girl, i kinda backed off. I've come across some nice looking cars with girls behind the wheels (some are ok, some are too ricey). At first if it looks modded, i would try and race it, but if i see that its an old old guy or a girl behind the wheels, i would back off, i would rather love the ladies than race them http://img189.imageshack.us/img189/7528/heart0ma.gif

Either way I think girls can hang any day. I dont care if the driver competeing against me is a guy or a girl, if they wanna roll then we roll.
there are a few girls here that race. The blonde with the red Maxima, I think her handle is RedMaxSL or something and dont forget about my wife, IshtarX. She loves to race and she can impress at the autoX around here.

I have a vid of me racing a STI and then right after me my wife racing another 3000GT, we shot it last year at the track. If anyone can host it for me I'll post it.

Bottom line, I think girls are quite capable, i think its a little dissrespectfull to even wonder if girls can race, hell yes they can race.

I see lots of girls driving around in integras, some riced out. Some are fast but most are slow. IMO, I think these girls need to put more into it instead of thinking the rice is going to make them look better...haha. Anyway, where I live most the chicks drive SUVs like a racecar so yeah, you gotta watch out.

I've raced girls...only lost to one, but that race I knew I was gonna get my ass whuped. This girl in my math class beat me with her dad's '03 Cobra when I still had my GSX...it wasn't ever even close.

but for some weird reason i dont know why... if i see its a girl behind the wheel i dont try to race her either. but i think thats just because i never assume they would want to.

She races IRL, and yes she does beat on the men in that but she's not great by any means, she makes a lot of little mistakes that cost her what should be wins, but she's still learning.


To answer your question, no, gender doesn't matter when racing but women's societal role generally doesn't put them in the drivers seat of a car so they dont get the opportunity as much nor do they make an effort to try because it's not "normal". Danica is changing that though, and Sara Fisher and Lyn St. James.

CHicks Racing HOTTEST Thing Ever.. too bad theres not that many around here.. the olny ones i know are IshtarX,99redmaxSE-L and a girl from my high school with a Turbo MR-2 but i'm sure theres others out there.... and as for me racing them, its usually up to them if there up for it or not.
