popularity

how popular, in terms of number of posts, is the s10 forum? i'm far too lazy to wade through all those topic description pages... i think for a non-performance vehicle, we might be one of the most popular...

can someone prove me right / wrong?

Just a quick search will often get you what you want, as you know it's how you word the search that makes the difference.

I noticed that in the begining you were lucky to get 2 replies, and now so many threads have 2 or more pages of replies.

Most people that replied in the begining are still ranked as newbies, so they probably gave up when it was still a small forum

Oh, that would be an awsome rule to have. Any time you reach a posting mile stone, (1k, 2k, etc) you should be free to post anything you want, free of repercussions.

but dont get me wrong, i get just as many answers from here ;)

when it comes to stright up popularity, we are not at the top of the list, but practical popularity, we are up there with the civics and what not, look at how many civic posts as how big of a 4 cyl. they can get into their cars (answer in the 88-91 is a 2L, yes the same displacement as my dew) we have some bs/ot threds, but not nearly as many as other parts of the board... and as to anything goes post... if it was true, i would tell all you fucker off :icon16:

For specific problems for the dimes I like to goto s10forum.com it has specific forums for the 2.2 guys as well as the 4.3 guys and several different forums for specifics like dropping, tans, exhaust, interior, and engine drivetrain. I find that it's a lot easier to find an answer to a specific problem there than here but in automotiveforums.com I can goto forums for each of my vehicles.
