hey everyone, i just got a 2006 focus and i live in ohio, recently its been snowing up here. well on my first trip to the gas station yesterday i noticed there was snow around my gas cap, so i just opened it and put the nozzle in. well, just before i put the nozzle in, some snow fell down into the tube. i filled up anyways, and when i went to start the car it wouldnt start right away, it took about 6 seconds to start. is that just becuase of the snow? or could something else be wrong? it hasnt done this since but i still thought it was weird, becuase the cars not even a week old. thanks

i very much doubt a teaspoon of water or so would cause something major.. put a couple cans of dry gas in it.

Depending on how cold it is, a small container of gas line antifreeze couldn't hurt either.
